Campaign Video

The Change The Game! video features the real voices of Baltimore youth, in a reality-based, hard-hitting expose of life on the streets of one of America's toughest cities. Using a combination of dramatic vignettes, spoken word, music and celebrity interviews, Change The Game! shows how young people can overcome issues like using drugs, dropping out of school, and getting caught up in street or domestic violence.

The Change The Game! video is by and for teens and youth in Baltimore. Shot on location in Southern Park Heights, Southwest Baltimore and Madison East End/Patterson Park North & East, the video does more than talk about the problems in Baltimore; local youth and adults talk about solutions-and what it means to “change the game.”

Change The Game! is also important for adults. Parents, caregivers and service providers can find out what young people think, feel and talk about when you're not around.

Dixon was raised in the same dire surroundings as many of Baltimore's youth and still managed to rise above those people who wanted to see him fail. He explains how he did it and says that, although a supportive family can make all the difference, you really have to want something better for yourself.
