MEE was hired by the National Center for Victims of Crime
to produce a 15-minute educational video that served
as the centerpiece for the National Centers' community
outreach resource kit for the Black Children Exposed
to Violence and Victimization project. The video featured
interviews with a survivor of childhood victimization,
a child therapist and a youth service provider from
the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The video and resource
kit will be used by the National Center and its National
Coalition membership, network and affiliates to foster
a deeper understanding by their respective constituents
about the seriousness of this issue and the need for
appropriate, culturally-sensitive intervention for
Black children and youth exposed to violence or victimization.
