Many
of Baltimore's youth are dealing with adult issues well
before their time. What defines their lives is a world
of limited options. Yet, MEE believes that these youth
have a multitude of talents and abilities to offer,
and is committed to helping ensure that these gifts
are not wasted. In a competitive process, MEE was selected
by the Family League of Baltimore City to design and
implement a youth-targeted social marketing campaign
that would positively impact the lives of youth ages
5 to 17 in Baltimore.

MEE
has a developed a series of hard-hitting radio public-service
announcements (PSAs) that are beginning to air on urban
and Black radio stations all over the country. Each of
the PSAs tackles early literacy by reflecting a slightly
different slice of urban reality. However, they all emphasize
the important role of parents/guardians in preparing our
children for a lifetime of success.
